Water weight is what you lose first when fasting for several days.

The body has enough fat to feed off for two to three weeks depending on how skinny or fat you are. I do water fast 3days every week. I’m on a water fast as I type this message. Heard about the dry fast guess I’ll start the dry fast for a few days.

Happy for the expats, but it's tragic for the locals. It takes a special personality to thrive in an isolated environment or a period of time no matter how gorgeous it is. I grew up on a farm and at twenty moved to the Amazon Basin so I know a little bit about that. I also lost my beloved Nashville to all the "internal Immigrants" from other states like California. Hi Amelia, you are not unmature. You are just surrounded by friends who have kids, so you know the reality. I think most mothers are suprised by the facts you have just said. I also found breastfeeding nasty, however in the end it is my favourite thing, I do not want to end. It is like hugging the baby on a deep level. I would also prefer to have a child who is at least 1,5 half year old when it is born. It would be much easier, the beginging of motherhood can be very hard. There is no need to have a child, however I can imagine that you can not understand live and femininity entirely if you do not experience motherhood. My perspective of the world have much changed after my baby was born. However, It can be very challenging for the relationship, I think it is good that you both talk about it. By the way, maybe the parents are right, it is just better to jump into it, if you know you want a child, because it can be very scary to know what can happen during the parenting/motherhood and I totally understand that now when you know many information you get more and more scared.

One of the best videos on UA-cam about Corvo Island. I am glad that you had a weather window, to be able to take some stunning drone videos of the crater and the island in general. I went to Sao Miguel, Faial, and Pico last year, but have been thinking to do another trip, just to visit Corvo and see the crater, and take some nice videos there. Informative video, and beautiful photography. I really enjoyed it. Keep it up.

Sadly what's missing here is that to be a full time resident in Mexico you need to show proof of a monthly income of between $3,000-5,000. Other than that you can live on much less...but you need to have that income.

Thanks for the house tour. Very modern and chic. But why is the master bedroom so small? The space between the wall and the bed seemed very inconvenient. I would hate it. Can you also see the view from the bed? Your budget seems to be expansive. When you live in luxury, why to cramp yourself in?

Bless their hearts if they think $20 for lunch and $40 for a hotel room is a good deal in MX. If you look like a gringo, they are going to charge you like a gringo. And why not? These two thought they were getting a good deal (which just shows they come from an affluent background), when they were being fleeced by the warm, smiling, wonderful people of this town. As a Mexican-American, this is embarrassing. But as long as people don't walk away from these prices, it's only going to get worst. PS: Guanajuato looks incredibly boring. You can only do so much walking and eating.
